Boxing is a two-for-one cardio and strength workout regimen which targets the entire body while boosting strength and cardiorespiratory fitness. It also improves a number of skill-related parameters of fitness – including balance, coordination, reactivity, and agility. This ultimate, high-intensity interval training workout program is comprised of boxing rounds that alternate between periods of maximum effort and active recovery. We offer two types of boxing classes:

  • Punchography™

Kickboxing combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. Kickboxing begins with a warm-up and gradually increases in intensity, offering a full-body workout that includes movements such as knee strikes, kicks, and punches. Exercises like push-ups and crunches are incorporated into the workout to boost your strength and flexibility, in addition to functional training movements and high-energy training. Couple that with some pumping vibes and motivating beats… you’ve got yourself one kick-butt workout!

Punchography™ is a boxing class structured around strengthening moves and rocking vibes. A trademark of its creator and our amazing instructor, Kristina Doiron, this class will increase your coordination and help you strengthen the brain-body connection. Hand-eye coordination is key for boxing. Punching a bag or sparring requires focused movements and amazing recall, challenging your muscles and your mind. How about some core work…? Let’s skip the sit-ups and glove up instead. Boxing is highly targeted to your core since your hips need to rotate in order to get full extension and deliver a more powerful blow.
