Island Yoga in Motion

This Yoga Cardio Mix is for everybody!  Guaranteed to invigorate your  senses and enable you to tune into the power of mother nature.  Moving  through these 75 minutes with Cheryl Hines will allow you to create the blue mind effect  and harness the power of natures 5 elements. Tap into cardio as we move  briskly along our Islands beautiful beaches and tree-lined sidewalks.  Intermittent stops will provide time to incorporate Yoga's systematic  approach to breath, stretch, and balance.  Move through Vinyasa flow to  the sound of the ocean waves, and fill your lungs with negative ions.  Meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30am at the Scott Road Beach Access.

Mindful Movement

Come join Martha Mcdowell every Monday morning at 8:15am for a beautiful, gentle start to your day. With mindful, meditative movements inspired by MindBody Yoga with Dance and Spatial Dynamics similiar to Tai Chi. This practice will gently lead you into the spaces you'll occupy throughout your day. Beginning with gentle floor work that leads into quiet movement and balance exercises, closing with a guided imagery shavasana that will leave you relaxed, centered and with grace throughout your day.

Dance Trance


This super fun dance class entails moving and grooving for a full hour of back to back songs that are taught in our Dance Trance Break Down classes. You’re guaranteed to sweat it out in this class… all while keeping a smile on your face! 

The DT choreography is created in a manner that allows students to pick up combinations that will repeat throughout the routine. A new song is taught each week in the Break Down Class.



A cardio jam session inspired by the energizing and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Using lightly weighted drumsticks, Pound transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. 

This full-body workout combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with Yoga and Pilates-inspired movements.



Spin is our indoor cycling program that offers you a cardiovascular, butt-kicking workout unlike any other around. With our brand-new Matrix Coach by Color Bikes, you’ll be able to monitor your pace and focus on your power output using our Coach by Color Consoles. Just increase the intensity and go to the color zone that your instructor announces – at your pace, at your level, and at your color. 

With the only Virtual Ride screen around… you’ll experience an awesome ride anywhere in the world you would like… low lights, great music, and the back roads of Ireland baby!

Strength Training Classes

Boot Camp


This super fun class is going to amp up your workout regimen. Performed outside in our front parking lot, you will train with group intervals and build strength doing various calisthenics such as pullups, pushups, lunges and crunches, as well as drills and sprints using old tires, weights and battles ropes. In essence, this boot camp workout will keep you moving with bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity and strength training.  



Two classes are offered in this format.  

BAG BASICS  teaches the components, form and proper technique found in boxing. Focusing on hooks, jabs, and punches that will increase your coordination and help you strengthen the brain-body connection, including hand-eye coordination.  For that extra boost, BAG BURN will bring you to a higher level of exercise, incorporating  punching, kicking and  sparring  practice.  This class requires focused movements and amazing recall, challenging your muscles and your mind. GLOVES REQUIRED -  available upon request.



Condition, Tone, Strength.  This class is a resistance weight training program that uses weights, barbells and dumbbells to offer a full body workout with a minimal risk of injury. Emphasizing proper technique and safety, this class will increase your strength, muscular endurance, body definition, balance and overall stamina. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome. 



Kickboxing combines elements of boxing, martial arts, and aerobics to provide overall physical conditioning and toning. Kickboxing begins with a warm-up and gradually increases in intensity, offering a full-body workout that includes movements such as knee strikes, kicks, and punches.    GLOVES REQUIRED -

A total-body strength and cardio conditioning class that helps you blast fat and build lean muscle fast. Focusing on upper and lower strength using weights as well as your own body, power moves, plyometric, functional stability core work and cardio blocks to rev up your metabolism.  



This class offers a workout system that leverages gravity and your own body weight to perform multiple exercises while using the suspension straps. Through functional training, you're in control of your workout by simply adjusting your body position to add or decrease resistance. Engaging your core with every exercise, you'll get a total-body workout while increasing your flexibility, balance, strength and coordination.

Stretching Classes

Beginner's Yoga


This gentle class provides an opportunity to quiet the mind, align the body and connect with intention. Through the practice of linking breath with movement, and by slowing the pace of flow between asanas (yoga postures), each class becomes a moving meditation. The experience is one of deep relaxation, inner peace, and gentle healing. This class is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  Options will be queued throughout class for those students desiring more, or less, work – making the practice an individual experience for all. 

Room is approximately 75 degrees.

Pilates Mat


This class places emphasis on your body’s core, such as the abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thigh and the glutes while performing exercises on a floor mat. Pilates moves require you to virtually engage your entire body, allowing you to strengthen one muscle while stretching another. 

This class will help you develop strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination and balance – promoting good posture and preventing injury in our everyday lives. Temperature is slightly elevated to warm the muscles and increase your heart rate.

Room is approximately 75 degrees.

Hot 26 Yoga


This foundational sequence of 26 set postures is fundamental to hot yoga and will stretch and strengthen all major muscle groups in the body.  This class focuses on balance, alignment, and deep breathing.  While learning to hold the basic postures, you will nuture and find your inner strength, stability, and clarity.  The gentle and easy to follow series is designed for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.  Ideal for runners, cyclists, golfers, tennis players, and athletes from all disciplines!  

Room is heated to approximately 90 degrees

Heated Power Yoga


This heat building class focuses on stretching, flexibility, balance and strength. Through engaging movements and stretches you will build heat as the class progresses, then slowing relax into calming stretches and mindfulness.  Gracefully ending in a peaceful Shivasana meditation and deep restoration, you'll finish feeling refreshed, relaxed, calm and with gratitude and peace.   

Candlelight and low lighting is set for ambience with temperatures slightly elevated to warm the muscles and increase your heart rate.

Room is heated to a warm 85 degrees. 

Spirited Vinyasa


This class will lead you through coordinated, mindful movements that incorporate deep breathing and fluid movement.  While allowing your breath to guide you from one pose to the next, you will be led through a gentle flow, while fostering awareness, intention, focus and mindfulness.  The experience is one of deep relaxation, inner peace, and gentle healing.  Candlelight and low lighting is set for ambience with temperatures slightly elevated to warm the muscles and increase your heart rate.

Room is heated to a warm 80 degrees. 

Restorative Yoga


 This gentle and relaxing yoga class utilizes bolsters, blankets and pillows to assist in your movement, open your stretch and provide comfort. Focusing on the centering of your breath and body.  Aligning the physical and mental by practicing stillness or gentle movement for extended periods of time.  Postures will be of the seated, kneeling, and supine variety.  This class is very therapeutic - mentally, emotionally and physically.   Candlelight and low lighting is set for ambience with temperatures optimum for comfort.
