"Breathe" Through the Holidays

So the holidays are upon us.... yep - right around the corner, literally!  And as much as we look forward to these special moments, cherished family time and togetherness, it certainly can become overwhelming, crazy and stressful..... that is, if we let it!  That's why we've decided to offer this Mindfulness Workshop series during the busy Holiday Season ~ to help us stay centered, focused, grateful, and completely open and aware of every beautiful moment that is to come.  Join us each Saturday at 1:00, beginning October 27th and running thru December 15th, for an enlightening experience.   The Mindful Workshops will conclude with a special "Wine" Down Yoga session,  culminating all of the elements of mindfulness into the sampling of  specialty wines... followed by an amazing, warm yoga class.

Join us for the concluding workshop in our "Breathe Thru the Holidays" Mindfulness Series, followed by a relaxing Yoga Nidra Experience.  Being mindful and fully aware in our daily lives takes effort and practice, cultivating the energy that helps us recognize the conditions of happiness that are present in our lives. You don’t have to wait ten years to experience this happiness, It is present in every moment and every second of your daily life, you just need to be open, accepting and allowing for these moments to take precedence in your life.  There are those of us who are alive and don’t know it... but when you breathe in, and you are aware of your breath, you touch the miracle of being alive. That is why mindfulness is a source of happiness and joy.   Life isn’t about the past or the future, but rather the here and now.

Our Mindful Living Workshop will be lead by Liam Gillen, a E-YRT 500 teacher in IAM Yoga, and an advanced Yoga Nidra facilitator, a Therapeutic Yoga facilitator and a personal Coach. He leads Yoga Nidra trainings, workshops and retreats focused on the core principals of IAM Yoga and Yoga Nidra, and has previously served as CEO of the Amrit Yoga Institute.  Liam Gillen’s career as executive and CEO in the hospitality, education and real estate industries has always been infused with true leadership and an interest in the spiritual aspects of life. This has culminated in studying the IAM method of Yoga for the last ten years.

As such Liam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on the importance of bridging the world of work and business with a balanced personal inner life.

This very gentle, restorative yoga class is open to all and FREE to any  person that is impacted by cancer...  patients, survivors, caregivers,  family and friends. Taught by Eliza Young - a certified Yoga instructor and cancer survivor - who has been specially trained through the  Christina Phipps Foundation. This gentle class provides a safe,  supportive and nurturing environment for all aspects of healing. Please  share with anyone that may benefit

 This special class is geared just for men. With a heated room to warm the muscles and simple postures that are easy to follow and hold,  this class is suitable for any ability level... whether a beginner or seasoned yogi at heart, Be sure to stay after class for some social time and ice cold craft beer.
